Mandelic acid

Alpha-hydroxy acid contained naturally in bitter almonds, whch chemical structure (presence of eight carbon atoms) gives peculiar properties. The key is the ability to interact on the epidermis turnover without causing reactions such as bruising or pain. This makes it useful in the prevention and treatment of skin damage due to aging. Precisely for these features, the mandelic acid is well tolerated even by sensitive skin.

What it does

Glycolic Acid

Naturally occurring organic acid, especially in sugar cane. It differs from other AHAs because it has a lower molecular weight  (containing two carbon atoms) and thus a better penetration. It is not photosensitive and has many useful properties to the skin.

What it does

-Reduces thickening of the stratum corneum by interacting on the links between the corneocytes
 - Increases the thickness of the epidermis internal
- Wakes cellular metabolism

Gluconolactone

Active substance present in the skin, the fundamental processes of cell renewal. The keratinocytes synthesize and naturally convert to gluconic acid and gluconolactone in Ribose and Deoxyribose, the respectively fundamental bases of RNA and DNA. In addition to performing a moisturizing action, Gluconolactone is a natural antioxidant that can combat and prevent oxidative damage responsible for skin aging.

Malic Acid

Organic acid present in nature in the fruits, is very delicate and has important properties synergistic with other AHAs. It helps cellular energy mechanisms, it has antioxidant properties, chelates metals and moisturizes. The Malic Acid Gently improves the cell renewal.

Lactobionic acid

Poly-hydroxy bionic acid  consisting of gluconic acid (found naturally in cells and is the acid form of Gluconolactone) and galactose (a sugar found naturally in the human body) that gives ability to repair skin. The lactobionic acid has a special ultra-moisturizing powers and is able to act on the surface and in depth, it is also a powerful antioxidant .

MMP

The MMPs are a family of important enzymes, their function is to remove the old collagen and elastin ' to make way for the new. Over the years, and due to many factors such as sunlight, irritation etc. increase level of MMPs and thus abnormally increases their ability to enzymatic degradation.
Natinuel is using different bio-active substances which have a specific mechanism of action, capable of interacting with different types of MMPs and bring them back to physiological levels as are found in a biologically younger skin.

DNA

The cell is the basic unit of living organisms: it is the smallest unit of an organism capable of operating independently.
▪DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid ) is a nucleic acid that contains genetic information necessary for the RNA and protein biosynthesis, molecules essential for the development and proper functioning of most living organisms. DNA can replicate itself, thus allowing the passage of genetic information from one cell to another. With the aging diminishes this capacity therefore becomes crucial to help the skin with a strong bio-protection of cellular DNA.
Natinuel puts an emphasis on the complex relationship between cellular DNA and aging. To this finality are selected substances able to promote DNA repair mechanisms and cellular bio-protection.

Free radicals

Free radicals are molecules formed by a grouping of unstable atoms because they lack an electron in the outer orbits. For this reason they tend to return to balance by taking the electron missing from any molecule with which they come into contact, after this contact that the molecule becomes "oxidized" in turn becomes a free radical.

The body has means to stop this playback chain, but unfortunately, this ability is greatly reduced with the passage of time due to external agents such as UV rays, free radicals, if not prevented, damage many cellular structures and promote degenerative phenomena in particular glycation, accentuating aging skin.

Sugars transported by blood vessels by oxidative stress are transformed into highly reactive carbonyl compounds, RCS (reactive species of carbon). The reaction by which sugars bind to proteins in a situation of oxidative stress is called glycation.
